Village Shed Store provides a 5-year limited warranty on the standard frame building, excluding pre-owned buildings. Any modification to a building after installation will void the warranty. Generic drawings are available free of charge. Specific building and raised engineered seal drawings are available for purchase. Village Shed Store is not responsible for damage to buildings resulting from acts of God (such as flooding, hail, lightning, wind, ice, snow, earthquakes, etc). It is normal for the ground to shift after your building. This settling may cause your windows or doors to need adjusting. We offer one free releveling within six months of receiving your building purchased from Village Shed Store.
The customer or their representative should represent themselves as such when applying for permits with their locality. We are not responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, or setbacks, nor do we know if your locality requires a permit. Please get in touch with your local building authority or Homeowners Association for this information.
The customer agrees to indemnify Village Shed Store of any responsibility for damage to underground lines, septic systems, and drain fields. It is the customer’s responsibility to check with Miss Utility (*811) or applicable service companies for underground obstacles and to request that the location be marked where lines, septic, or drain fields are located, if applicable. Village Shed Store or its employees are not responsible for any damage to property that is not disclosed by the homeowner before the shed is delivered.
You will receive a notification the day before your product is delivered or the shed is moved to confirm the delivery time and location where the item is to be delivered (moved). If you are not ready to receive or move your building, we highly recommend that you reschedule. There is no charge to reschedule the delivery or move of your building. A $500 re-delivery fee will be charged if our delivery team arrives at your location and we are unable to access the area to set up the building or access the building to be moved.
Village Shed Store will provide standard delivery and set up of your shed at no additional cost. Additional charges will apply for deliveries exceeding 100 miles from our store location to the location where the building is to be delivered and back to our store. For shed moves, the mileage included in the base move is 80 miles from our store to the locations and back to our store. An additional fuel charge may be charged if fuel rates exceed $4/gal. The standard setup includes one hour to deliver, place, and complete the setup, including up to two levels of block at the highest load point of the shed.* The customer is responsible for ensuring the area is level and that it can be accessible to the delivery team. The delivery team may use shims to properly level the shed. Sites with a grade of more than two courses of block require additional approval by the delivery team.
*For shed moves, our delivery team will use your existing block; if any additional block is required, there is an extra charge of $6.00 per block.
For deliveries and shed moves, our delivery team must be able to access the area around the building to set up the building properly. The Customer is responsible for clearing all debris, stumps, and grass over four inches tall in the path to and in a three (3) foot area around the location where the building is to be placed. Our delivery team is not required to trim trees or clear the area to the location, and may refuse to deliver the shed if the location is not ready. Additional fees will apply if our delivery team needs to move posts, trim trees, build over existing objects, install tie-downs, and/or use additional block due to the location’s grade.
A surcharge of $160 is applied for deliveries over 100 miles and for moves over 80 miles.
Fees for additional block and labor are due when the setup is complete.

ALL SURCHARGES ARE COLLECTED WHEN DELIVERY IS COMPLETE.
-All sales may be canceled within 72 hours of signing the contract.
-Village Shed Store has the right to retain all Deposits and Processing fees if the customer cancels the order after three days.
-A minimum fee of 25% will be applied to cancellations made after three days. Any sale canceled after a delivery attempt is subject to the following:
- Stock orders – $500.00 delivery fee
- Custom Order – 50% restocking fee
-The customer will be charged $6.00 per block for the additional block and any other materials required for the setup.
-There is a fuel charge of $4.00 PER MILE over 100 MILES from the store to the location and back to the store. For Shed Moves, this fee applies to distances exceeding 80 miles from the store to all locations and back to the store.
-Tie Downs (E.G., mobile home anchors $240 for a set of 4. $60 each over 4 anchors attached to concrete or in the ground. Tie Downs cannot be used on asphalt.
-Redelivery fee of $300 if the location is not ready when our delivery driver arrives to set up your building.
-Remove a fence post $160 per post.
-Replace a fence post $160 per post
-Trimming- $100 per tree branch or bush.
By signing this sales form, I accept these terms and conditions and agree to pay any fees that may be incurred due to events outlined in these terms and conditions.
