A storage building is not an ordinary retail purchase, so this page explains how cancellations, damage and warranty work, and what to do if something is not right.
Before your building is delivered
When you buy a building we take it off the lot and hold it for you, or we order it in. If your plans change before delivery, call us as soon as you can on (804) 894-8095 or (804) 894-2985 and we will talk through your options. The sooner you tell us, the more we can do.
Any deposit you have paid is applied in full to the purchase price of your building.
On the day of delivery
Please look your building over before our crew leaves. If anything was damaged in transit or the building is not what you ordered, tell the crew there and then and call us the same day. Problems reported at delivery are far easier for us to put right than ones reported weeks later.
Our crew sets the building level as part of delivery. If it settles in the first year we will come back and relevel it once, free.
Warranty
Buildings carry a 5 year warranty. If something covered by the warranty goes wrong, call either location with your serial plate number and a description of the problem, and we will arrange to inspect it. Warranty details for your specific style are available on request.
The warranty does not cover damage from storms, accidents, misuse, or from moving the building yourself after delivery.
Rent-to-own agreements
If you took your building on rent-to-own, that agreement governs your payments, your options and what happens if you want to end it. Rent-to-own carries no credit check and can be paid off early at any time. Ask us for a copy of your agreement if you need one.
Outdoor furniture, cushions and accessories
Smaller items are a different matter to a building. If something is unused and in its original condition and you want to return it, contact us and we will let you know whether we can take it back and what to do next.
Custom and made-to-order items cannot usually be returned once production has started.
